What you’ll do
Lead cross‑functional teams in developing Process Flows, Control Plans, GR&R, Work Instructions, Process Capability, Rework Procedures, Calibration and Qualification of tools, Quality Validation, Risk Assessments (PFMEA) & New Product Introduction.
Collaborate with OEMs in commissioning and starting new automated manufacturing equipment; collaborate with EHS on safety hazard mitigation.
Create and implement mentorship programs for Jr Engineers.
Develop expertise in manufacturing processes; modify line layouts, material flow, waste reduction, ergonomics using Lean best practices.
Analyze and optimize production processes to maximize OEE while driving world‑class quality; champion continuous improvement projects.
Lead Engineering teams in executing complex projects with clear reporting to senior management.
Monitor and reduce process variation using SPC and MSA; maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, and Engineering Change Orders; integrate MES for traceability.
What you bring
6+ years working on processes within high‑volume automation and/or electro‑mechanical production systems; degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience developing and improving process; track record of OEE improvement activities.
Good understanding of BOM, MES, Specification Management, Change Point Management.
Data collection and analysis experience; root‑cause analysis and solutions.
Strong problem‑solving skills; proficiency with DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5‑Why, 8‑Disciplines.
Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities; excellent communication skills.
Creative capacity to develop new ways in alignment with Tesla approach.
Passion for making new products and use testing to enable engineering organization.
Plus: experience on X‑ray imaging, Vision systems, Laser process, Laser welding, power electronics, electrical measurements, testing and metrology.

Expected Compensation
Associate Process Engineer – $68,400 – $102,600/annual.
Process Engineer – $75,600 – $113,400/annual.
