Overview
Sr. Telecom Engineer – 10 month contract, Inver Grove Heights, MN (remote one day a week in headquarters). Responsible for migrating to Microsoft Teams Voice platform and supporting telephony solutions. Responsibilities
Lead migration to Microsoft Teams Voice platform. Gather business requirements and design telecommunication solutions. Prepare detailed specifications, flowcharts and Visio designs for implementation. Maintain telephony hardware, software and infrastructure. Monitor, log, track and resolve deficiencies in the telephony infrastructure. Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice migration. Experience with CCaaS platforms (Five9 preferred). Strong scripting skills with Python or Power Shell. Ability to work with business to gather requirements. Understand the strategic purpose of telephony service delivery, not just the technical execution. Additional Qualifications
Agile Scrum methodology experience. Legacy phone system migration to Microsoft Teams Voice. TDM, IP-PBX, and VM/UM integration. PRI, Digital, Analog, VOIP, SIP (station and trunking). PSTN connectivity – ISP provisioning/management. Design, administer, troubleshoot dial-plans and call flows/vectors. Deployment of Microsoft Teams in complex enterprise environments. QOS/COS traffic shaping/bandwidth throttling, monitoring, packet capture and analysis. Understanding of Number Porting. Employment Information
