We’re looking for a Principal Frontend Engineer to join our growing team!
What You’ll Do
Architect, develop, and maintain highly scalable, efficient, and reusable frontend applications using React, NextJS, and other modern frontend technologies
Lead the technical design and implementation of key features, including server components, data fetching, caching strategies, and performance optimizations
Own the frontend architecture, ensuring seamless integration of authentication, authorization systems, and complex UI/UX interactions
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to conceptualize and build intuitive, responsive user interfaces that meet business needs
Drive the implementation of technical solutions that ensure the scalability, performance, and maintainability of the frontend codebase
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to frontend engineers, fostering a culture of code quality, performance excellence, and continuous learning
Conduct comprehensive code reviews and enforce best practices for frontend development, ensuring high standards of code quality and reliability
Define the long-term vision for frontend technologies and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with company goals and staying ahead of industry trends
Champion and maintain a robust unit testing framework, focusing on edge cases, usability, and overall application reliability
Spearhead the performance optimization of applications, including load times, rendering efficiency, and user experience improvements
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 2+ years leading and mentoring frontend teams
Proven expertise in building large-scale, performance-critical web applications using React, NextJS, and TypeScript
Extensive experience transforming Figma (or other design tools) wireframes into production-quality, pixel-perfect React applications
Deep understanding of modern frontend development practices, including state management, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and hydration
Strong experience with advanced form validation techniques using tools like Zod or Yup
Proficiency with Git and version control systems, as well as CI/CD pipelines for frontend development
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices in frontend development
Experience with Next.js and TailwindCSS, along with a strong grasp of design systems and responsive web design
Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainability
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Visionary approach to frontend architecture and the ability to drive long-term technical decisions
A passion for delivering high-quality user experiences, with an eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles
Ability to guide and influence technical direction, balancing user experience with backend integration and overall system performance
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong communication and leadership abilities
