Neuropsychologist
qualified for appointment at the
Associate Professor or Professor rank . The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Responsibilities
Join multidisciplinary teams to provide neuropsychological services for adult patients with a broad range of neurologic conditions (e.g., memory disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and others). Conduct neuropsychology interviews and interpretations; testing is supported by psychometrist-administered testing. Provide pre-surgical evaluations with patients with movement disorders (experience required). Potentially supervise interns and postdoctoral neuropsychology fellows in our APPCN-member program. Engage in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents within the department and Health Sciences Center on psychology/neuropsychology topics. Pursue collaborative research activities as interest and opportunities develop. Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program. Internship with experience in neuropsychology and a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for licensure in West Virginia. Those eligible for or certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology are encouraged to apply. For appointment at the Professor rank, Board Certification (ABPP) in neuropsychology is required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. About the Institute and Department
The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach. The Institute focuses on neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer's to Parkinson's; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
