Responsibilities Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing cancer and cancer‑related health challenges. In this role, you’ll provide expert patient care, health teaching, and counseling while delivering interventions that restore and support well‑being. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians and licensed providers to carry out medical regimens and lead a dedicated care team of nurses and clinical support staff. Beyond daily patient care, you’ll also take part in professional development opportunities through workshops, in‑service training, and ongoing education. Qualifications
License Requirement : License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
Education and Experience : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; or graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prior experience working in a nursing home, psychiatric facility or other sub‑acute facility; or graduation from an accredited school of nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full‑time medical‑surgical experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications : Prior ICU experience and at least one year in critical care or two years in oncology within an inpatient hospital setting. An ANCC certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are also preferred.
