Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ED boarder and Med/Surg Telemetry environment Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and administer cardiac drips (no titration) Perform procedures including IV starts, central line and PICC line management, wound care, and blood product administration Utilize Epic for accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services Float to other nursing units within scope of experience as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies and participate in required orientation and training modules Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (first-time travel nurses considered) Active Maryland RN license or Compact State RN license required BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only) required ACLS certification preferred Experience with Epic electronic charting system Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Must provide 2 professional references (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN) Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from facility Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Details
