Provide nursing care to patients of varying age groups, utilizing nursing process and standards. Assess patient health status systematically and continuously. Administer medications safely, assess effects, and document appropriately. Plan and implement individualized care in collaboration with patients and families. Evaluate care outcomes and revise plans accordingly. Educate patients and families, ensuring cultural sensitivity and age appropriateness. Advocate for patients and coordinate with the healthcare team. Supervise and collaborate with unlicensed assistive personnel. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); BSN (preferred) Current KY RN license or compact license (required) BLS certification (required); PALS and ACLS may be required for specific units Participation in Nurse Residency program if a new graduate Work Schedule
12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week Overtime infrequently required Additional Information
Professional conduct, ongoing education, compliance with policies, and participation in evidence-based practices are expected. New hires must start BSN within one year and complete within three years of hire. Seniority Level
