Job Title:
Electrical Engineer (Medical Device)
Location:

Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and testing of analog and digital circuits used in medical devices and test fixtures.
Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as Altium Designer or OrCAD.
Conduct electrical verification, validation, and reliability testing following design control procedures (FDA and ISO 13485).
Perform root cause analysis on product and test system failures; implement corrective actions and design improvements.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering teams for product integration and optimization.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation including test reports, design inputs/outputs, and change orders.
Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and safety standards (IEC 60601, EMC).
Support prototype builds, system integration, and component evaluations during various stages of product development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, product testing, or sustaining engineering (internship or full-time).
Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
Understanding of analog/digital design principles and basic EMC/EMI concepts.
Familiarity with documentation and design control processes in regulated industries (FDA, ISO 13485).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical writing skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PCB design tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD).
Exposure to embedded systems, firmware, or signal processing.
Knowledge of medical device safety and reliability standards (IEC 60601).
Internship or project experience within a medical device or life sciences company.
