Accounting Manager - Global Manufacturing Operations

Our company, a global leader in the Tech Services industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager. This role is an integral part of our finance team and will be responsible for overseeing the global manufacturing accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and improving our accounting operations and systems, ensuring our financial transactions are accurate and comply with legal regulations. This position requires a candidate with a strong understanding of global manufacturing accounting, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership skills.

Job Details Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the global manufacturing accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
Experience with global manufacturing accounting is strongly preferred.
