The Job:

As Lead Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team and will be working as a hybrid employee. The Lead Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be a key contributor to the Charger Group, responsible for developing and producing reliable, cost-effective charging platforms for consumer, professional, and outdoor applications. This role requires close collaboration with internal customers and support teams to ensure products meet critical requirements for quality, cost, and timely delivery. You’ll get to: Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product Managers, Industrial Design, Reliability, Compliance, and Sourcing to define product requirements and "Critical to Quality" attributes. Release comprehensive Internal Product Specifications, RFQ packets, and costed Bills of Materials (BOMs). Partner with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and quality for components and assemblies. Lead the development and production of new electro-mechanical platforms for both AC and DC applications, accommodating high-mix or low-volume production demands. Design and implement robust electro-mechanical packaging and charging solutions for outdoor environments. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards. Support manufacturing engineering, design for manufacturability, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Apply advanced engineering skills, including air flow and thermal analysis, to optimize product performance and reliability. Conduct finite element analysis (FEA), testing, and validation of designs; analyze test data and implement improvements. Drive root cause problem-solving for manufacturing, assembly, and product performance issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and support regulatory documentation. The Person:

You also have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 10+ Years of experience in electro-mechanical design and manufacturing assembly, with a focus on AC/DC charging solutions. Strong proficiency in: Electronics Manufacturing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Project Management Electronics Packaging Manufacturing Engineering Safety Regulations & Quality Control Root Cause Problem Solving Test Data Analysis Mechanical Assembly Product Planning & Dimensioning Product Life Cycle Management Testing & Validation Design for Manufacturing Lean Manufacturing Research and Development (R&D) Microelectronics Supplier Quality Product Engineering Air Flow and Thermal Analysis Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in fast-paced, time-sensitive scenarios. Preferred Experience Experience developing charging solutions for outdoor tools and equipment. Background in battery management systems and advanced product engineering. Familiarity with supplier management and cost optimization strategies. The Details:
