Responsibilities
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients. Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols. Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner. Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments on the equipment to produce high quality images. Guide patients through the process by describing steps and addressing questions. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property and patient financial information. Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
Must have BLS certification
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
