Job Summary

Responsibilities
Obtain medical histories when necessary.
Perform physical exams within established protocol.
Diagnose, treat, and monitor chronic diseases within protocol guidelines.
Order diagnostic tests.
Prescribe or recommend medications within protocol guidelines.
Provide preventive health screenings and immunizations for children and adults.
Promote positive lifestyle habits through education and counseling.
Assist the doctor with office procedures.
Ensure charts are signed off by the doctor within 7 days.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Make follow‑up calls to check patients’ progress.
Assist doctors with phone coverage.
Work closely with other nurses and key healthcare staff to assure efficient patient flow.
Consult with the doctor regarding patient symptoms to assure proper diagnosis and plan of treatment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing.
3–5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required.
1–3 years previous experience as an NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience.
Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of TN/GA (APRN: TN/GA).
Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA (RN: TN/GA).
American Heart Association BLS (BLS‑CPR).
Pay Range $48.26 - $56.84 /hour
Location Cleveland, Tennessee area (greater Cleveland)
