Echocardiograph Technologist

Under the supervision of the Department Director and Cardiac Cath Lab Manager, the Echo Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures for patients of all ages, serving as a customer service representative and participating in quality control activities. The role also involves serving as a technical resource for less experienced sonographers. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited cardiac echocardiography program or equivalent education/experience. National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent certification. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of national certification exams in cardiac echocardiography, color Doppler, and stress testing. Hospital-based sonography experience.
