Technical Project Manager Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects with a strong focus on on-time delivery, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction. Establish and enforce robust project governance, including documentation standards, delivery milestones, and reporting cadence. Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and proactive issue resolution. Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution. Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and escalation paths, with a focus on minimizing delivery impact. Champion the adoption of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies based on project needs and client preferences. Monitor and report on delivery KPIs, including velocity, quality metrics, and client feedback. Oversee resource planning, ensuring optimal allocation and balancing across initiatives to meet delivery goals. Support continuous improvement by integrating lessons learned and best practices into future engagements. Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in project or program management Proven track record of successful project delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder engagements. Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Confluence. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment. Solid grasp of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource cost tracking. Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall delivery frameworks. Experience working with distributed teams across geographies and time zones. Familiarity with client-facing delivery models, including SOW adherence, invoicing, and performance reviews.
