Senior Procurement Manager (relocation assistance available)
Base pay range $126,300.00/yr - $168,400.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Job Summary
Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.) and Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.). Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing, Supplier Selection, Pricing/Terms Negotiation, Order Processing, Contract Administration, Supplier Performance Management. May include Strategic Sourcing. Responsibilities
Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others; mobilize resources. Manage two or more direct reports. Monitor and achieve operational and/or financial results for the area of responsibility. Perform people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees. Lead progression within the levels reflecting increased scope and responsibilities; grow business, process, and people leadership capabilities. Oversee subordinate management and/or experienced specialists who exercise significant latitude and independence. Head one or more departments; allocate resources to align with business objectives and annual plans. Address issues requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives; apply comprehensive understanding of concepts in the discipline and related areas. Solve complex problems using internal or external resources; implement strategic policies for obtaining results. Apply knowledge of key business drivers to maximize performance; establish operating policies and procedures affecting departments and units. Interpret company-wide policies; develop and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance requirements. Set objectives and measure results; ensure timely completion of projects and operations; decisions have extended impact on processes and outcomes. Engage with internal and external leadership and senior-level customer representatives for projects and contractual clarifications; lead briefings and technical meetings. Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree. The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
