Manages repair and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment including installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments; installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure; making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations; planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions. Responsibilities

Directs, leverages, and guides the work of others, and mobilizes resources. Leads two or more direct reports in typical roles for this level. Monitors and achieves operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility. Manages people-related actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees. Progresses in responsibility with experience, including leadership capabilities and broad technical expertise. Heads one or more departments and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plans. Works on issues requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Has a comprehensive understanding of concepts in their discipline and related areas. Solves complex problems using resources within or outside the organization. Implements strategic policies for obtaining results and applies knowledge of key business drivers to their area of responsibility. Establishes operating policies and procedures affecting departments and subordinate units; interprets company-wide policies. Develops and adheres to budgets, schedules, and performance requirements. Assignments are objective oriented with work reviewed against organizational objectives and timelines. Decisions have extended impact on work processes and outcomes and may affect project or operation results and resource expenditure. Interacts with internal and external leadership and senior-level customer representatives on projects and contractual clarifications. Leads briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders. Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related work experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments, required in lieu of degree. Candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
