Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead our global Digital Strategy product development team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of AI-enabled strategic projects that modernize core business processes, empower our workforce and drive measurable ROI. You’ll act as the bridge between internal leaders, product owners and engineering teams—championing Agile Scrum practices, fostering cross‑functional collaboration and continuously improving our delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Coach:
Guide a multi-disciplinary team of product managers, developers, UX designers and QA engineers through the full delivery lifecycle—prioritizing, planning, executing and reviewing work in two-week sprints.
Agile Excellence:
Own Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospective), enforce Agile best practices and continually mature our Scrum processes.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior leadership, business partners and the Digital Strategy Office to translate strategic objectives into clear product roadmaps and sprint backlogs.
Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies and impediments; drive swift resolution and communicate status and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Metrics & Reporting:
Define and track key performance indicators (velocity, cycle time, quality metrics) to measure team health and delivery outcomes; present progress and insights in concise reports.
Continuous Improvement:
Facilitate retrospectives and process workshops to surface improvement opportunities; implement actionable changes that boost team productivity and product quality.
Culture & Collaboration:
Foster a culture of innovation and psychological safety—breaking down silos, encouraging knowledge‑sharing and promoting an Agile mindset across departments.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years in a Product Owner, Scrum Master or similar role driving Agile/Scrum teams in software product development—ideally within a digital strategy or transformation context.
Agile Expertise:
Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, user story mapping, backlog grooming and release planning. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to tailor messaging for both technical teams and executive leadership.
Leadership:
Demonstrated success coaching teams to high performance, resolving conflicts and cultivating accountability.
Organization:
Strong planning and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross‑functional dependencies.
Preferred Skills
Experience leading delivery of AI/ML or data‑driven products.
Familiarity with project management tools and Agile collaboration platforms (Monday, Azure DevOps).
Background in change management and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud‑native development and DevOps practices.
Prior work in a globally distributed, matrixed organization.
