Description Compensation: Competitive starting salary

$88,800 - $112,800

commensurate with skills and experience, full pay range $88,800 - $136,700.

What We’re Looking For We seek an experienced Senior Project Manager Contractor to support the Director of Information and Technology Services in shaping and implementing our first comprehensive Data Strategy. The role requires a proven project leader with PMP certification and a track record of managing complex, cross‑functional projects. Core skills include schedule management, requirements gathering, scope definition, progress tracking, and data‑related project experience (e.g., data governance, architecture, analytics, or enterprise information management).

What You’ll Do

Define and document project scope.

Design project plans for implementation.

Create and manage change management activities.

Manage project teams comprised of staff and contractors to execute implementation plans.

Act as liaison between project owners and internal/external stakeholders.

Produce weekly project status reports.

Occasionally participate in mentoring and training on project management and change management.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory duties.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Five years’ experience managing multiple concurrent complex projects.

Five years’ experience managing software development projects.

Two years’ experience using Agile project management methodology.

One year’s experience as a Scrum Master.

Systems implementation strategy – knowledge and experience in successful systems implementations.

Group facilitation and team building – successful approaches to building and managing high‑performing project teams.

Good organizational time‑management skills, problem‑solving skills, and issue resolution.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to develop and lead organizational change management efforts related to project implementation.

Must have proven ability to produce clear, concise reports and recommendations and make presentations.

Project management skills to create and report on project forecasts.

PMP Certification preferred.

Prosci Change Management Certification helpful.
