The Shared Services Team supports others within the EssilorLuxottica collective by ensuring people and projects run smoothly and that every part of our business is well taken care of.

The Technical Business Analyst – EssilorLuxottica North America supports product delivery initiatives within the Helix division by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Reporting to the Product Delivery Manager, the analyst plays a critical role in eliciting, documenting, and refining requirements while ensuring clarity, traceability, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle. The analyst operates within Agile and hybrid project environments, working closely with Product Owners, technical teams, QA, and business stakeholders to define scope, clarify edge cases, and facilitate effective solution delivery. This role ensures that requirements are accurately translated into user stories and that deliverables meet both business objectives and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Elicit, document, and refine business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of current‑state processes.

Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to groom the backlog, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work.

Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, clarify scope and edge cases, and maintain shared understanding across engineering, QA, and business teams.

Ensure all requirements, decisions, and changes are clearly documented and traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Monitor team velocity and delivery progress; support issue resolution and elevate risks or blockers that may impact sprint goals or release timelines.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test coverage aligns with documented requirements and support UAT coordination with business stakeholders.

Prepare release documentation, validate business sign‑offs, and ensure operational teams are informed and ready prior to go‑live.

Foster collaboration across cross‑functional teams including engineering, QA, security, infrastructure, and legal to ensure successful end‑to‑end delivery.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

3+ years of experience in product delivery, business analysis, or project execution within Agile and/or hybrid environments.

Strong understanding of Agile practices and the software development lifecycle.

Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a hybrid delivery model that integrates Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Familiarity with regulatory, security, or compliance‑related documentation and traceability.

Experience supporting enterprise‑level integration or product launch initiatives.

Certification in Agile, Scrum (e.g., CSM, SAFe), or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP).

Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
