Electrical Specialist IV
Onsite
in Sabine Pass, Texas - must be local to the Port Arthur/Beaumont Texas area

Responsibilities The Electrical Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. They will work with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
7+ years in electrical maintenance, industrial electrical systems, or field service roles
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical equipment (e.g., MCCs, switchgear, transformers, motors)
Proven track record in identifying equipment failures and driving root cause analysis (informal and formal RCFA, low to high IRAT)
History of working cross-functionally with engineering, planning, and operations teams to improve system reliability
Familiarity with NEC, site installation standards, general practices (GPs), and preventive maintenance protocols
Experience mentoring junior electricians or technicians: running toolbox talks, job shadowing, or leading technical training
Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, and experience optimizing PM tasks based on field observation and failure data
Exposure to reliability improvement initiatives (e.g., bad actor programs, infrastructure planning, RCM participation)
Comfortable specifying repair scopes and evaluating craftsmanship quality — with a focus on safety and compliance
