Full-time: 40 hours

Pay: $33.62

Job Overview The Carpenter maintains all structures and related components. Services performed include all standard carpentry work, including roughing, framing, and finishing; cabinet making, glazing, and more. Performed journeyperson‑level maintenance and repairs in accordance with industry/trade practices. Performs assignments in response to requests for service, scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and unscheduled or special projects. Incumbents use all standard tools, equipment, materials and supplies of the trade and observe all safety rules, regulations and precautions in performing duties.

Work Interactions This position reports directly to the Building and Structures Supervisor and works along with other carpenters, masons, roofing/sheet‑metal workers, building maintenance workers and a trades helper.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training in the carpentry trade.
