Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for ready‑mix concrete projects using project plans, specifications, and material requirements.
Generate and deliver professional quotes and proposals promptly to contractors, builders, and project managers.
Respond to incoming inquiries and provide technical guidance, pricing information, and product recommendations.
Follow up on quotes and proposals to close sales opportunities and build strong customer relationships for repeat business.
Track estimates, proposals, and sales activity using the company CRM.
Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and field teams to ensure accurate scheduling and delivery.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to maintain competitive positioning.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in construction estimating, inside sales, or customer service (preferably in concrete, aggregates, or building materials).
Strong mathematics and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred
Familiarity with construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Knowledge of ready‑mix concrete and related materials.
Experience with estimating software or CRM systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (DOE) + Commission + Bonus.
Quarterly Bonus: $2,500 for meeting revenue targets.
