We are looking for a
Civil/Site Engineer | Project Manager
who will play both key technical and managerial roles in the design, planning, and implementation of site civil design/development projects for our clients. You’ll leverage your expertise in site design and creative problem-solving skills while collaborating closely with institutions/municipal agencies. From initial concept development to final plan submittal, this role will be involved with projects through every stage of the design process, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Act as Design and/or Project Manager in all aspects of Civil/Site Development Design projects, including working with teams and end clients to develop data, complete technical analyses, and prepare permitting and construction drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
Develop Concept, Layout, Preliminary and Final Engineering Plans.
Develop and/or oversee the development of erosion/sediment control plans and utility/utility relocation plans.
Manage permit applications.
Serve as the technical expert in site layout, utility and grading plans, stormwater analyses and reports, and site development permits.
Perform and/or oversee civil engineering analyses and numerical analyses using various computer software programs.
Determine hydrology, develop hydraulic/drainage and stormwater calculations, SWPPPs and obtain NPDES permits.
Participate in hands-on field observation and inspection of construction activities, particularly regarding problem-solving scenarios.
Communicate with clients on deliverables.
Develop and/or oversee project proposals and Engineer’s construction cost estimates.
Develop/manage schedules, budgets, and quality of work.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Project Management.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D in various Civil/Site Design projects.
Excellent customer service, a high level of professionalism, and comfortable with client interaction.
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain quality focus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team player with reliability and punctuality.
Quality-minded and client-focused.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
6+ years of Civil/Site Design experience.
PE credentialing (or about to obtain the PE) is required.
Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
