Hospitality Building Services is seeking a Hotel Construction Superintendent to join our team in Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC. In this role you will take ownership of the jobsite and ensure every phase of construction is carried out with precision and professionalism. From coordinating schedules and subcontractors to monitoring safety and quality, you\'ll play a central role in delivering successful hospitality projects across the Southeast. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who can adapt quickly, solve problems on the fly, and keep teams motivated and aligned toward project goals. Location

$80,000 - $110,000 per year + Year-End Bonus Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely and quality execution. Monitor and enforce jobsite safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Maintain project schedule by anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and adjusting resources as needed. Conduct daily site walks to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with Project Managers to review drawings, resolve field issues, and track progress. Lead and document daily jobsite meetings. Ensure completion of punch lists, inspections, and final turnover with attention to detail and client satisfaction. Verify compliance with permits, building codes, and inspection requirements throughout the project. Foster a positive, productive jobsite culture by setting clear expectations and motivating field teams. Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction; hospitality project experience preferred. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and safety regulations. Proven ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents. Skilled in managing subcontractors, vendors, and field staff with a focus on accountability and teamwork. Solid knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and cost control principles. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore experience a plus). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to anticipate problems, think critically, and implement practical solutions on the jobsite. OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start). Benefits
