As a Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer you'll be at the forefront of our innovation for identifying, analyzing, and reducing safety and business risks associated with rotating equipment. You will influence how equipment criticality is determined, determine appropriate maintenance strategies for equipment, and optimize the site's CMMS to achieve desired results. You will determine and implement long-term improvements to maintenance practices, with emphasis on predictive maintenance, data-driven decision making, and integration of modern technology with technicians on the shop floor. You will also provide input to the site's long-term capital plan across all plant areas, review and provide input into capital projects concerning reliability and maintainability, and manage capital projects directly related to reliability and maintenance support. You will be consulted by and consult with Maintenance Planners, Process/Project Engineers, Multi-craft Maintenance Technicians, and related roles. What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Reliability, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline). 10+ years of reliability and/or maintenance experience in a chemical or closely related manufacturing environment. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), with a strong preference for SAP CMMS. Experience with modern maintenance inspection equipment (alignment tools, IR/thermal imaging, Ultrasonic, etc.). Precision maintenance practices pertaining to rotating equipment (laser alignment, tolerances, balancing, lubrication management, performance evaluation, etc.). Deep technical knowledge of rotating machinery design, operation, failure modes, bearings, seals, mechanical seals and systems, lubrication systems, couplings; including vacuum pumps, compressors, pumps, blowers and gearboxes. Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics for compressor and pump hydraulic performance and specification analysis. Modern asset performance monitoring techniques (vibration analysis, lubrication sampling, thermography, ultrasonics, predictive analysis). Practical experience in specification, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, analyzing failures and operational evaluation of rotating equipment. Practical application of reliability strategies including spares management, RCM, RCA, FMEA and criticality analysis. Good communication with management, engineers, maintenance personnel, and plant operators. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, keeping them on schedule and within budget. Preferred Requirements
Industrial maintenance and reliability training or certifications (CRE, CMRP, or CMRT). Familiarity with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and related PSM topics. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management. Perks And Rewards That Inspire
