Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a fast-growing nutraceutical contract manufacturer seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and industry regulations .

Chemical Analysis:
Perform qualitative and quantitative testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as
HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP-MS, and titration . Method Development & Validation:
Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, and reproducibility in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure all testing meets
GMP, FDA, USP, NSF, and other industry standards
for nutraceuticals. Stability Testing:
Conduct stability studies to assess product shelf life and identify potential degradation pathways. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including test results, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and investigation reports. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve analytical challenges, instrument issues, and out-of-specification (OOS) results. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Quality, R&D, and Production teams to ensure product consistency and compliance. Instrument Calibration & Maintenance:
Ensure analytical instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Regulatory Support:
Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and audits. Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field . 3+ years of experience in an analytical chemistry role within the
nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or food & beverage industry . Hands-on experience with
HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP-MS, and other analytical instrumentation . Strong understanding of
GMP, FDA, USP, and regulatory guidelines
for nutraceuticals. Experience in
