Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team. We are a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services, specializing in MEP, information and communication technology, architectural lighting, vertical transportation, and commissioning. The position follows a flexible work schedule: in-office Monday to Thursday (9 hours) and remote Friday (4 hours).

Job Responsibilities

Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer. Learn drawing organization and company standards. Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects to understand architectural, engineering design and documentation. Coordinate with the designs of other trades under guidance from more senior staff. Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades. Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work. Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits, attending project coordination meetings. Participate in the Engineering Development Program (EDT) training sessions and related activities. Attend EDT program continuing education seminars on technical and professional topics. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate enjoys teamwork and can work independently when needed. Candidates should be eager to learn and develop hands-on experience using technical resources available. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering, with graduation date Winter 2025, Spring or Summer 2026. Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus. Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite. FE and EIT preferred. About the EDT Program

Recent graduates may participate in our Engineering Development Training (EDT) program, an accelerated but thorough training curriculum that teaches both technical and industry-specific business aspects.
