We currently have an entry level opportunity for a
Mechanical Engineering Graduate
at Syska Hennessy Group, a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services. We specialize in MEP, information and communication technology, architectural lighting, vertical transportation, and commissioning. This is a growth-oriented role in an environment that supports learning and hands-on development through the Engineer Development Program (EDT). Job Responsibilities: Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer. Learn drawing organization and company standards. Perform CAD/REVIT drafting for various projects to understand architectural engineering design and documentation. Coordinate designs with other trades under guidance from senior staff. Support design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades. Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments. Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits for project coordination. Participate in and support EDT program training and related activities. Attend continuing education seminars on technical or professional topics. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with graduation date Winter 2025, Spring, or Summer 2026. Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus. Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite. EIT or FE preferred. EDT Program Recent graduates can expect an accelerated, thorough training curriculum that covers technical and business aspects of engineering. Senior engineers will mentor participants to foster strong mentor/apprentice relationships. The program reflects Syska’s commitment to developing engineers through mentoring and technical training.
