Electrical Engineer to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college related to architecture or construction engineering or architecture, as well as at least
5 years of experience with building electricalcodes and systems in a construction setting, including medium voltage (about 600 volts), fire alarms, cathodic protection, and radio frequency. This position will be full-time, On-site in Jersey City,
New Jersey . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Reviewing electrical engineering documents,calculations, specifications, and reports for completeness with codes and standards. Coordinating review comments from other technical disciplines and preparing memoranda for transmitting comments to the line departments. Attending meetings with Architect/Engineer of Records to discuss and review comments and resolve any issues. Assign various technical disciplines for code review. Perform related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college related to architecture or construction engineering or architecture At least
5 years of experience with building electricalcodes and systems in a construction setting, including medium voltage (about 600 volts), fire alarms, cathodic protection, and radio frequency. Proper understanding of electrical disciplines related to building design and construction of transportation and related facilities Experience acting as an intermediarybetween tenants & facilitiesand in-house application reviewers to ensure smooth workflow Professional Engineer’s license in State of New York and/or New Jersey. Strong computer skills,including MS Office, Autocad, Bluebeam, ProCore, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant construction software. Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
