ttg Talent Solutions We are seeking a detail-driven AutoCAD & Inventor Drafter to support the design and engineering department of a well-established manufacturer in the commercial food service equipment industry. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mechanical design, technical drawings, and contributing to high-precision stainless steel fabrication.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create detailed technical drawings and flat pattern layouts from sketches or design notes.
Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and part relationships for functional production.
Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to develop 2D and 3D models for manufacturing.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project specifications.
Adjust and revise drawings to comply with engineering updates or improvements.
Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or engineering staff.
Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required.
Experience in mechanical drafting or design within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong spatial awareness and understanding of mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret and transform technical sketches into production-ready drawings.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn and grow within a hands-on training environment.
