Primary leadership for assigned projects alongside the project superintendent. Evaluating scope of work, planning, organizing, and staffing project teams. Establishing project objectives, policies, and standards. Coordinating with clients and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities. Negotiating and issuing subcontracts. Monitoring project progress, schedules, and budgets. Managing financial aspects and maintaining profitability. Managing risks and pursuing additional work through change orders. Ensuring document control compliance. Attending progress meetings and maintaining client relationships. Supervising and mentoring project staff. Qualifications include:
Strong project management skills including documentation, cost control, scheduling, and negotiation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. OSHA-30 certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Proficiency in MS Office and learning new software systems. 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or construction science, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of construction design, finance, and management experience.
