Liaison and conduit between Safran Seats USA and customers for any quality issue detected during OEM inspection, product delivery, seat installation or final aircraft cabin inspection. Primary objective is to improve customer satisfaction and perception of reaction to reported issues by leading product quality improvement projects. Essential Functions
Act as a quality interface for SSUSA customers, responsible for immediate response and follow‑up actions on all inquiries raised during product delivery. Clearly define customer expectations of quality requirements and translate them to production. Lead the CAPA and perform containment actions on any reported non‑conformances. Lead and coach in QRQC activities and customer concerns room. Perform technical root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions through design updates, assembly sequencing correction, tooling improvement, training or process change. Use problem‑solving tools such as 8D, 4S, 5Whys, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, etc. Collaborate with worldwide quality team and on‑site support teams. Perform monthly defect data trend analysis and identify areas of opportunity. Lead OEM Quality Improvement Board meetings to analyze major KPI's and review project improvement status. Qualifications
Education
– Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field, or 12 years equivalent experience. Experience
– 2 years in a quality professional role within aerospace industry, familiarity with AS9100 quality systems, FAA regulations, APQP, LEAN/Six Sigma fundamentals. Professional Skills
– Ability to generate reports and data utilizing MS Office tools, analyze data and make decisions, knowledge of corrective and preventive actions, written communication skills in English. Behavioral Skills
– Convince, take initiative, accept responsibility, adaptability, autonomy, build relationships, creativity, leadership, negotiation, perseverance, self‑confidence, self‑motivation. Desirable
– AS9145, Six Sigma or Lean certification, Spanish language. Travel
