Overview
Immense Networks is seeking a Level Two Technical Engineer with strong networking experience, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and a solid background in Azure cloud services. This role will handle escalated technical issues, provide advanced troubleshooting, and assist with project-based work while ensuring high-quality IT support for our clients. Responsibilities
Provide advanced remote and on-site networking and infrastructure support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls). Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, or similar). Administer and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based networking. Implement and manage Azure Virtual Machines, networking, and security policies. Respond to and resolve escalated technical support tickets in a timely manner. Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues. Assist with network design, deployment, and upgrades for clients. Collaborate with senior engineers on IT projects, including Azure migrations, network redesigns, and cybersecurity enhancements. Document troubleshooting steps, client environments, and resolution processes. Requirements
2+ years of experience in an MSP or similar IT support role. Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall configurations). Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure AD, Virtual Networks, Intune, Virtual Machines). Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose complex IT issues. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive). Experience working with firewalls and security policies (Fortinet). Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred). Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Fortinet NSE4 (preferred but not required). Why Join Us?
