Det-Tronics (Detector Electronics, LLC) Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Location : Derry, NH Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with the goal of creating products that satisfy customer needs in accordance with Electrical Engineering Department processes. Lead the process to create and review development related documentation such as design documents, safety plans, FMEAs, and similar. Create, design and test specifications in cooperation with Product Management Team and other groups responsible for specifying products, or product changes. Design and develop circuits using electrical engineering principles and commonly available components such as microcontrollers, semiconductors, sensors, etc. Create designs that meet the stated requirements including any cost and safety/regulatory requirements. Analyze existing circuits and their physical implementation to understand their behavior and identify design defects with goal of performance improvement. Build and test prototypes to evaluate and validate design concepts; analyze test results, identify issues, and propose optimization solutions. Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards, relevant to industry standards, codes, and electrical design and implementation regulations. Perform related duties as assigned by the individual's manager. Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with 2+ years’ experience. A strong background in circuit analysis using Electrical Engineering principles. Direct design experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools in current use at the company. Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team. Ability to skillfully use standard Electrical Engineering tools such as meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems and the related software for each tool. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills through effective use of verbal communication, email, and various other communication tools. Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous priorities and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and managers about those priorities.
