Lead Quality Engineer
at Honeywell: As a Lead Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards in our industrial automation products. You will leverage your expertise to drive quality initiatives, implement robust testing protocols, and enhance product reliability, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within an AS9100 manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your strong technical background and experience in quality engineering will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering onsite prioritization guidance and support to onsite Quality team.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 manufacturing standards and regulations.
Manage tough conversations with demanding aerospace customers and regulatory agencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and RMA complaints and ensure external regulatory compliance (FAA, UL, CSA).
Provide technical expertise and support in quality engineering processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace and defense industries.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies such as Six Sigma or AS9100 / ISO9100 quality standards.
Proficiency in quality analysis tools and techniques, including statistical process control and failure mode effects analysis.
Experience with quality assurance software and tools for tracking and reporting quality metrics.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
WE VALUE
Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).
