for many. What You'll Do

In this role as a

Service Technician , you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing specialized equipment used to support aircraft maintenance and operations on the ground. This includes both Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Maintenance Tooling. Your day-to-day work will involve identifying defects in equipment received for service, disassembling and testing components, performing necessary repairs, calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy, and reassembling units to meet quality standards. You may also be required to perform on-site service at customer locations when needed. The role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures and quality systems. You will be responsible for completing accurate service documentation, such as repair estimates, parts usage records, and service reports. Maintaining your tools, test equipment, and inventory of spare parts. What You'll Need

To be a strong fit for the Service Technician role, you should have solid mechanical skills and hands-on experience working with machinery or equipment. A key requirement is the ability to

read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings , which is essential for accurately diagnosing and repairing equipment. You’ll need a good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with strong attention to detail to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. The role also requires the ability to

follow detailed procedures , complete accurate service documentation, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills are important, especially when working on-site. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience in aerospace or with ground support equipment is a plus. What's In It For You
