Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineer (Relocation to Saudi Arabia is Required)
Experienced Pump Specialist with strong technical capabilities and extensive experience with pumps, pumping systems and seals/sealing systems. The candidate should have exceptionally good communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and with cross-departmental teams.
Candidate will maintain and develop the company’s pumps and seal technologies and standards; provide technical support to the company’s operations; provide support to new projects development and evaluation; and benchmark the company’s operation and assets. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Perform technical assessment of existing pumping system and issue recommendations.
Provide technical support for capital projects involving pumps & seals at various project stages (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering).
Utilize simulation and modeling of pumps hydrologic and piping system.
Contribute to taskforce investigations to investigate major incidents or solve specific problems.
Promote a learning environment and share knowledge with young engineers and promote engineering in society.
Familiar with different pumps vendors.
Introduce emerging technologies to address related business challenges, enhance equipment/system reliability/availability or performance.
Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving services and develop technically innovative process solutions with appropriate risk consideration.
Act as a professional mentor in developing engineers.
Basic Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university; MS is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas handling rotating equipment with more focus on pumps/pumping systems.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills.
Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
Related international professional certifications such as Vibration analyst etc.
