We are seeking a skilled
Mechanical Engineer
to join the team, working on cutting edge programs and projects around our multitude of space-based programs. Responsibilities
Design parts for the various space-based vehicles, including lunar landers, satellites, Earth reentry vehicles, orbital transfer vehicles, and related systems Generate drawings, piece-part drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD Generate lifting and operational procedure drawings and models Assist in developing manufacturing products Qualifications
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering design; or M.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience Experience with CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks) Minimum 4 years of CAD design experience; portfolio requested but not required Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and related standards Experience with Microsoft Office suite Embraces Intuitive Machines core values: Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of experience using SolidWorks and/or Creo Understanding of design methodology, basics of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, and manufacturing techniques Experience with carbon fiber or carbon fiber sandwich panels preferred Familiarity or exposure to NASA and Mil Spec standards US EEO Statement Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
