Project Manager – Architecture
Position Overview:
Majestic Developers, a vertically integrated real estate development firm headquartered in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a
Project Manager – Architecture . This position reports directly to the Director of Architecture and is responsible for both hands-on drafting/production and the management of architectural projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from concept through completion across diverse types: office, retail, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and more. Draft and review
construction documents, wall sections, and technical details
using Revit and AutoCAD. Oversee junior staff while also contributing directly to drawing production. Apply knowledge of commercial and wood-frame construction methods. Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, etc.) to ensure accurate, integrated project sets. Interpret and apply building codes (IBC, IFC, ADA/TAS, ComCheck, zoning ordinances). Manage documents and construction administration in Autodesk Construction Cloud; review RFIs, submittals, and field reports. Use Bluebeam for markups, QA/QC, and drawing reviews. Support project schedules, budgets, and permitting. Participate in client presentations, entitlement hearings, and city/board meetings. Mentor junior staff while staying hands-on with technical production. Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or related field). Strong technical expertise in
wall assemblies, detailing, and construction methods . Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and ACC experience a plus. Familiarity with commercial and wood-frame construction. Knowledge of permitting processes, AHJ coordination, and AIA contracts/forms. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative. On-site role . Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years
of relevant experience Familiarity with local development codes, drainage criteria, and permitting processes Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects Note: You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply.
