Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Biosystems Engineer, knowledge of bioprocessing and fermentation techniques, and practical laboratory experience. Ability to develop and implement process design strategies for bioprocessing and fermentation systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of bioprocess engineering, microbiology laboratory techniques, and CAD software such as Inventor, Multiphysics, and iSee simulation modeling.
Physical Demands Hands-on manual work that may be physically exerting.
Additional Information Responsibilities include creating process design strategies (40%), maintaining equipment (40%), and coordinating with team members (20%).
