Design electrical systems for buildings and develop construction documents. Perform building information modeling (BIM) using Revit MEP and CAD drafting using AutoCAD. Produce drawings, specifications, and coordinate disciplines with other trades. Review shop drawings and submittals; conduct construction site reviews and code reviews for MEP systems. Interface with code officials, contractors, architects, and clients; collaborate within the Dewberry organization. Assist with design and specification of power distribution systems, emergency generation systems, lighting, fire alarm, and other technology systems. Qualifications
BS in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited university is required. 0-2 years of technical experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems. PE is preferred. Experience designing electrical systems and producing design documents for buildings in Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Well organized; good note-taking skills. Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
