Lead CNC Machinist . We’re looking for a hands-on expert who can program, set up, and optimize CNC lathes to deliver high-quality, precision parts for a variety of clients. Requirements
8+ years of CNC machining experience or State Journeyman certification Proven experience programming and setting up CNC lathes Proficiency with CAM programming software Strong ability to read blueprints, specs, and use precision measuring instruments Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Ability to train and lead operators in a production setting Commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
Responsibilities
Program and set up CNC lathes to run customer parts with consistent quality Use CAM software to optimize production and machine capabilities Select, align, and secure tooling to maximize tool life and reduce downtime Train operators and ensure smooth transition from setup to production Monitor machine operations and coordinate with management to resolve issues Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces Assist with process improvement and team training
