Develop geotechnical engineering designs, sketches, plans, specifications, and estimates for flood walls, levees, bank protection, and pumping stations projects. Oversee geotechnical subsurface characterization programs for routine work. Perform complex assignments, evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard engineering techniques and procedures. Lead teams responsible for slope stability, settlement, and seepage analysis; conduct geotechnical studies on complex projects. Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures. Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, with project management not being the sole focus. Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed. Perform other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. MSCE preferred. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, or equivalent software. Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft software for slope stability, settlement, seepage, and deep foundation response. Experience with Bentley geotechnical data management and visualization tools (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog). Commitment to active participation in our employee-owned culture. Our Values and Commitment:
