Position Summary
The Supervisor, Product Inspection and Labeling ensures compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in processes while leading a high-performing team. This role supports Empower’s mission to provide innovative, affordable medications.
Duties And Responsibilities
Oversees daily processes in the product inspection and labeling department, ensuring production output meets quality and compliance standards. Ensures compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures while training and mentoring technicians for efficiency and adherence to protocols. Reviews documentation to prevent errors, operates inspection and labeling equipment, and ensures timely ordering of supplies for uninterrupted production. Collaborates with the Quality Assurance team to enforce policies, implement regulatory updates, and foster continuous improvement. Manages team schedules, evaluates performance, provides feedback, and supports production through hiring, mentoring, and safety compliance.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge And Skills
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, self-motivation, effective problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with previous inspection and labeling experience preferred.

Experience and Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, including hiring and developing employees, and 1 year in a cGMP or similar regulated environment. High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
