Senior Technical Recruiter - Program Manager Help advance a multi-state portfolio of front-of-the-meter battery energy storage (BESS) projects from site control through LNTP—coordinating cross-functional workstreams, managing consultants, and keeping scope, schedule, and budget on track. This role is task-heavy: turn diligence findings into clear actions, unblock permitting and interconnection tasks, and keep leadership current on risk, cost, and critical path.

What you'll do

Project Execution & Coordination

Run day-to-day development activities for an assigned set of BESS projects (early/mid-stage → LNTP).

Build and manage integrated schedules, decision logs, risk registers, and permit matrices; maintain weekly status and look-ahead.

Entitlements & Community

Drive entitlement pathways (pre-apps, zoning/CUP, site plans, fire/life-safety reviews) with outside planners, code/FS engineers, and local counsel.

Coordinate with internal Government Affairs/Communications to support stakeholder outreach and public meeting readiness.

Interconnection Support

Coordinate interconnection inputs (one-lines, POIs, load letters, study data) with grid consultants; track milestones, deposits, and study deliverables.

Flag upgrade cost/feasibility issues early and align timing with monetization targets.

Partner with Real Estate on site control (options/leases/purchase options) and internal/external easements (access, gen-tie, utilities).

Order/title-clear ALTA reviews, surveys, and legal exhibits; manage cure actions to close.

Commercial & Investment Readiness

Prepare concise materials for Investment Committee/ICX and executive updates: milestone status, risks, capital needs, valuation levers.

Support disposition/readiness at LNTP (data room hygiene, CP checklists, redlines).

Vendor/Consultant Management

Scope, procure, and manage third parties (land-use planners, civil/electrical, fire, environmental/CEQA/NEPA support, interconnection/utility liaisons, survey/title).

Drive to clear deliverables, dates, and acceptance criteria; manage change orders.

Budget, Controls & Systems

Stand up development budgets and NTEs; track actuals vs. forecast; surface variances with mitigation plans.

Maintain accurate records in Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Salesforce, and SharePoint.

How you'll be measured

Milestone reliability: % of permitting and interconnection gates achieved on or ahead of plan.

Readiness to monetize: completeness/quality of LNTP exit packages and CPs.

Schedule integrity: variance vs. baseline for critical path activities.

Issue closure velocity: time to identify, escalate, and resolve blockers.

Data hygiene: accuracy and timeliness in systems of record.

Cross-functional partners Development Project Manager Expectations:

Owns end-to-end execution for 3–5 projects; leads internal/external status meetings.

Anticipates permitting/utility risks; proposes mitigations and trade-off decisions.

Produces IC/ICX-ready content; coordinates cross-functional approvals to LNTP.
