Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
Keep vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies secure.
Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
Report issues to store management and ensure proper fueling and vehicle security at end of day.
Clock in/out per policy and perform other duties (customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, etc.).
Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when needed.
Required Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet company standards in the 14/18-point record system.
Legally required state driver's license and driving eligibility.
Preferred/Desired
Familiar with automotive parts.
Ability to operate other light store equipment.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
Total Compensation Compensation range: $20.24 - $26.25 per hour. The actual rate may equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location and may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums where applicable.
