A rapidly growing manufacturer in the greater Bergen County area is seeking a driven and process-oriented Customer Service Manager to lead their commercial support function. Backed by new investment and a renewed go-to-market strategy, this organization is in expansion mode and aims to redefine operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize the entire order-to-fulfillment lifecycle, ensuring smooth handoffs between customer service, operations, and logistics.
Manage a team of internal account support and customer experience professionals to deliver high-touch service and client satisfaction.
Implement scalable systems and workflow improvements that elevate the customer experience while driving internal efficiency.
Administer CRM and ERP platforms with an emphasis on data quality, reporting, and system performance.
Build, track, and report on KPIs and performance dashboards to provide leadership with critical business insights.
Lead onboarding and training efforts for new team members, reinforcing standards and best practices across all client-facing interactions.
Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in customer service, sales operations, or order management within a B2B product-based environment.
Preferred experience working in the Lighting or Electrical Industry
Proven leadership experience, including direct team management and/or cross-functional leadership.
Hands-on knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ERP platforms.
Strong understanding of customer support workflows, sales enablement, and operational metrics.
Experience leading through change and building structure in fast-paced, evolving organizations.
