Overview This Program Business Manager supports the Low Tier Air & Missile Defense Systems (LTAMDS) finance team within the LADS (Land & Air Defense Systems) Sub‑Business Unit. The role provides accurate financial analysis, program cost control, and strategic recommendations across the LTAMDS portfolio, enabling programs to meet cost, schedule, and financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple junior analysts in process improvement, reporting efficiencies, and product quality
Manage critical deadlines while balancing conflicting priorities
Use strong analytical skills to quickly understand data for informed business decisions
Exhibit financial independence, high business acumen, and robust analysis within LTAMDS Radar Development programs
Interpret and implement Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures for program personnel in daily/weekly communications
Lead period‑closing activities and facilitate weekly/monthly cadence across the portfolio for inputs, reviews, and on‑time submittal of deliverables to LADS FP&A
Support accurate and timely analysis of financial performance, key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, Cash), cost, and early communication of issues impacting financial performance
Drive efficiencies through process improvement and grow FP&A best practices across LTAMDS Development
Provide support to LADS Development Balance Sheet, Overhead, and Investment activities including Capital projects, NBI spending, CFRs and ARs
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and 8 years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience
Experience in program controls and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes
U.S. citizenship is required for financial system access due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to success
Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis concepts, related systems, and processes
Strong ability to self‑manage and prioritize workload
Ability to collect, synthesize, and distribute information for decision making
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Office Products
