Staff Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients primarily at the Tulare hospital and provide intermittent coverage at Tulare, Selma, and Reedley hospitals as needed. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document treatment plans and progress. Review patient information before evaluations and during treatment; assist in data collection of patient outcomes. Instruct and direct support staff, supervise assistants and support staff as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Collaborate with rehab therapy team and other hospital departments to support a patient-centered treatment approach. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree required Experience: One year of inpatient speech language pathology experience preferred Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
