Overview
Adventist Health is seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join the inpatient rehabilitation team in Tulare, CA. This position will evaluate and treat patients mainly at the Tulare hospital and will provide intermittent coverage at Tulare, Selma, and Reedley hospitals. Work environment includes rehab therapy aides and a collaborative team; opportunities within a faith-based organization and a focus on work-life balance and patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities
Patient caseload of 8 patients/day. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Master\'s Degree: Required One year of inpatient speech language pathology experience: Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competency: Required. Accepting CFY applicants Benefits
